2. Favorite Of The Week
Honestly I haven’t had a favorite this week. Nothing has me completely gripped and on the edge of my seat. An Ember in the Ashes was pretty good but gave me anxiety. And I just DNF-ed a romance book. Proving that I need my contemporaries to have a deeper and bigger plot. The closest thing to a favorite would be Hunted by Meagan Spooner. I’m buddy reading this with my bestie but I’m only like 4 or 5 chapters in.
3. When I Wasn’t Reading
This week I was either sleeping (I took a lot of naps this week) or watching Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid on Crunchyroll. My husband and I discovered this anime this past weekend and we are both hooked. It’s so cute and funny. 13 episodes so far and we’ve watched them all. We just love it. If you’re into anime let me know if you’ve seen this.
4. Pic Of The Week
This is me and my husband on Easter Sunday. We got up early enough to attend the 8 am service. Which led to grogginess and a nap when we got home. Haha.
5. Looking Ahead
Nothing too exciting is happening this next week. My husband and I are going on a lunch date today. So that’s fun. And Saturday we will be heading to the comic book store. Always a fun adventure. Mostly I’m just content. Finding happiness in the every day events. It’s nice and peaceful.
Comment down below and let me know what your favorite read of the week was. I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!

I haven’t really been reading as much as last month, I did love the two ARCS that I read this month.

Happy belated Easter! I’ve not heard of Defy the Stars or And We’re Off, but I’m so in love with those covers! Definitely will check them out. (:
