The Happiness Tag

Hello nerdlings. It’s Thursday so I’m here with another tag. What What!! I was tagged by Lois Reads Books  to do this lovely tag. So I am just gonna jump right in.

List 5 Things That Make You Happy

(I decided to pick things besides books b/c well DUH)

1. My Cats

Because Yes I am a married cat lady who is obsessed with her furry children. I try to get my cats into my bookstagram as often as they will allow. I snuggle the on the hour. And I just spoil them rotten. The siamese will come to me and meow until I hold him. Yep. #spoilt

2. Spending Time With My Family

Because as we have discussed I am one of those weirdos who is close to their families. This photo was taken at my brother’s wedding. That’s my new sister in law. My husband isn’t in the pic but my immediate family all is. We are a pretty close family.

3. Coffee Dates with Friends

Every other Sunday my Texas best friend and I try and get together for coffee at our favorite shop and catch up on books, our lives, and more books. It’s a fun tradition and I really cherish the times I get to see her.

4. Board Games with my Husband (or any game)

We play alot of games together. No, I don’t mean emotional  games. But we are really into board games, he’s taught me how to play Magic the Gathering, and he is trying really hard to get me into video games so we can play together.

5.  Office Supplies

In case you didn’t know this… Hi my name is Sydney and I’m addicted to Office Supplies. Its a hardcore issue. I have so many pens, and notebooks, and and just random stuff. It does get used as I’m really heavy into journaling. But still.

List 5 Songs That Make You Happy

I really like this song. It pumps me up and puts me in a good mood.

From age 13 to 21 I was pretty obsessed with this band. I’ve seen them in concert like 5 or 6 times. I introduced all of my friends to them. They are the definition of my life at that age. This particular song is so upbeat and I love it.

Heard this on One Tree Hill and fell in love. Fun side note: I used to get my best music from TV shows. Like I could do a whole post on it.

First heard this on an episode of The Biggest Loser. It’s by a christian artist but its meaning is deeper than that. I love this song and it empowers me when I hear it.

This song was played at my wedding. When the pastor says “You may kiss your bride”. This song started up and we turned around and triumphantly walked back down the aisle. Its been mine and Justin’s song ever since.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little foray into what makes me happy. Let me know in the comments something that makes you happy. I hope you guys are having a thrilling Thursday. TTFN.

Hi, my name is Nika and I’m addicted to office supplies as well. I keep buying notebook and pens and all these stuff and then I don’t use most of it because it’s too pretty and I want to save it for something special.

Office supplies… Oh I feel your pain. I think we bloggers do go overboard on those LOL But at least you use up yours!
Furry children are the best: all the benefits of having kids without all the drama. Perfect! And that song is total wedding goals ❤
    Epic tag, Sydney!

What an awesome tag. It’s always good to take time out and remember the things that make us happy. I love that office supplies make you happy. I used to teach, and the joy of buying new office supplies was unparalleled.
